My Story
I was introduced to Scentsy in November 2013 and fell in love with the product immediately. My home always used to smell good with candles in the past but I was concerned about health and safety. I found Scentsy molded right into my needs. I love the long lasting scents along with a great product and a great price. All of my adult life I have worked outside of the home but circumstances arose in our family that changed that in July 2013. Not being able to work not only put a financial burden on our family but it became a burden to my own identity. I lost my own value in the world and I felt a loss of worth. I then decided I would search for some type of work that could be done from the home, so that I could have my own pocket change. Within two days of that decision, I received a wonderful surprise package in the mail from my Scentsy Consultant with some free “goodies”. How uplifting! It was then when I decided if I was going to spend time and money on something for myself, then it might as well be something I can benefit from. After taking time to look into the company and its ethics I had peace that this is what I am meant to be doing. I joined the Scentsy family April 24, 2014, and it has been a wonderful experience. I now have my own business that works with my schedule and my needs. Especially in August 2018 when my husband passed away unexpectedly and I had to make many sudden changes in my life and income. Scentsy has been that lifesaver and it was my Scentsy customers who has helped me pull through the fog. Having this business has also allowed me to bring joy to other people while sharing Scentsy. The Scentsy motto is: “Warm the heart, enliven the senses and inspire the soul.” And this is exactly what Scentsy has done for me. By the way that pocket change I wanted to make has become an income and I have earned many all expense paid trips, including a cruise to Cozumel Mexico, Disney World, a trip to Punta Cana, D.R., and a cruise to Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel.
